Greetings from Amazon.com.
In February 2007, we will be making some improvements to our "Sold, ship now" e-mail notifications. In preparation for these changes, we will soon be providing a new Windows-based desktop order notification application to help make order fulfillment easier.
We recognize that changing the content of the “Sold, ship now” e-mails might require an adjustment for some sellers. We hope that by providing you with advance notice of this change and early access to the new application, you will have plenty of time to identify and make any needed changes to your business processes to support these new features.
And so, we’re excited to announce that our new Amazon Services Order Notification application is almost ready for beta testing, and will be available for widespread use in a few months. We plan to release this new application with plenty of time for you to test its features.
This new Windows-based application will be available for all sellers, and will operate on your desktop. When the application is open and you are connected to the internet, it will automatically check for new Amazon.com orders and alert you to those orders. You can then use the application to view order details, including the customer e-mail address, and take steps to fulfill the order.
Some benefits of this new application are:
• You’ll be promptly notified of new orders. • You’ll have a more reliable delivery of order information than current “Sold, ship now” e-mail messages (which can be filtered to “spam” or junk folders) • You can easily retrieve order details on your desktop whenever you want. • You can print shipping labels and packing slips from your desktop. • You can retrieve up to 30 days of order history within the application. • You can use the application more easily than “Sold, ship now” e-mails to review your orders. • You can easily integrate the application with your custom applications.
We hope that you’ll download the new desktop notification application as soon as it’s available, and begin using it to review your orders. We think you’ll find that it provides a quick and easy way to retrieve order information in real-time. Accordingly, beginning in February, 2007, your “Sold, ship now” e-mails will contain only the following information:
• A notification that a customer has purchased one or more of your products. • Instructions for locating your orders in your Seller Account.
We’ve included an example of the new “Sold, ship now” e-mail message below. Because your buyers’ shipping addresses will no longer be available in your "Sold, ship now" confirmation messages, you will need to use other tools to view the transaction details. This information can be retrieved using one of several methods:
• The Amazon Services Order Notifier (ASON) • The Manage Your Orders section of the Seller Account • The Amazon Payments account transaction history • Order Fulfillment reports (available to Pro Merchant subscribers; can be automated)
We will be providing monthly updates on the progress of these changes, including further details about the Amazon Seller Order Notifier application, until the changes launch. Please keep an eye on the Seller Success board for further updates.
If you have any feedback about these changes, please feel free to send an e-mail message to at seller-suggestions@amazon.com.
Thank you for selling at Amazon.com.

YOUR SHIPPING CREDITS Note: Amazon.com is crediting you $3.49 in addition to your net sales price to help cover shipping costs. You are required to ship this item even if the shipping credit does not cover your shipping costs.

YOUR SHIPPING AND REFUNDS:
Sellers agree to ship within two business days of purchase. Failure to ship immediately is grounds for negative seller feedback, revocation of shipping credits, and even suspension of a seller's account. If you cannot provide the item you sold, you can issue a full refund by completing the following steps:
1. Go to your Seller Account. 2. Click on the "Amazon Payments account and billing history" link. 3. Click on the "Search your Payments transactions" link. When prompted, sign in using your e-mail and password. 4. After signing in, input your search parameters and click the Search button. 5. From the resulting list of transactions, click the transaction or order ID that you want to refund. 6. Scroll to the body of the Transaction Details page and click "Refund" link. You can include a short memo explaining the reason for the refund in the Memo to Buyer box. 7. After you enter your information, click the "Refund" button. We will e-mail this information to the buyer as soon as the refund is processed successfully.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT YOUR SOLD SHIP NOW E-MAILS & SPAM FILTERS:
The proliferation of SPAM has rendered email difficult to use. New e-mail filters implemented by ISPs and other technology services providers to curb the problem may stop you from receiving your Sold Ship Now E-mails.
As an Amazon.com seller, you depend on the Sold Ship Now E-mails to fulfill your orders and to ensure the utmost customer service to our mutual customers. However, unless you add us to your address book (or your ISPs whitelist), you may have trouble receiving Sold Ship Now E-mails from us. That's because new SPAM e-mail filters may incorrectly categorize messages from Amazon.com as "unsolicited" and redirect them to a bulk-mail folder, or possibly delete them entirely.
To ensure you receive the Sold Ship Now E-mails from Amazon.com that you depend on to run your business, please take a moment to add our e-mail address ("Amazon.com Payments" <payments-messages@amazon.com>) to your address book or to your SPAM "good" list or "whitelist." Doing so will help identify us as a company you recognize and expect emails from. Doing so also allows our messages to reach you in a quick and timely manner. Note, doing so will not tag * ALL * Amazon.com e-mails as good, only the Sold-Ship-Now e-mails, so you may want to add the other amazon.com e-mail addresses that you care about.
