What Business Insurance do you Recommend

Hello, Does anyone recommend a good "Business Insurance". I read in Amazons terms that if you sell over $3000 per month that you should have insurance and list them with a million dollars in coverage (liability). Can anyone recommend one and about how much it runs. Thanks

Depends where you are. Deal with an agent who specializes in business insurance, not places like state farm. Look for independent agents in your yeller pages. Million dollar umbrellas are not expensive.

I hadn't even considered the need for insurance. And unless you're one of the big boys -with a warehouse- wouldn't a rider to your home owner's suffice? In how many instances would you need liability insurance? I suppose a customer could drop a heavy book on their toe, but would that be the sellers responsibility? I suppose it could be argued that Agatha Christie was an incitement...:)

Ah! It has occurred to me that people sell other things on Amazon other than Books. I tend to forget that there are other things in the world other than books. Duh.

Yes that is correct I am not a bookseller i sell other than books on Marketplace. I do anticipate selling more than $3000 and wanted to know what insurance prices run. Thanks.

Did you create your store name as AKidsBeddingLine.com Amazon has a recent policy that a seller name can not contain the words Amazon, Com, Net, Dot etc. You may want to alter your store name or Amazon could shut down your store. And, also if you think that you may sell $3000 in product here as a new seller, please know that Amazon generally holds a New Sellers funds for up to 45 days to be sure everything is on the up and up. They do this to be sure that you are delivering the products people order and that the customers are satisfied. So be sure to have sufficient funds to cover the time period until you have proven yourself a good seller to Amazon. Liz
