Is ENS the way forward?
Posted: Aug 27, 2009 2:40 AM

Hi All,

I currently have a working system for our company (Large Marketplace seller), but I am in the process of re-modeling how we work, so I am looking to see if there are any better ways of accepting our data.

The AIM process of requesting reports and waiting while they are processed until you can download them seems very out-of-date and a waste of time and bandwidth, but the ENS service looks more appropriate, as you will only get notifications of events since your last request.

However there is very little documentation on ENS, and as a Perl/SOAP developer I cannot find anything to help me.

Can anyone share their thoughts/experiences with ENS or any other Amazon technology or and I better sticking with the old AIM systems.

Thanks in advance
Phil.
