Converting Oversize to Non Oversize

Question:
In order to save some fees, I changed an item from an oversize package (20x4x4) to a non-oversize package (15x11x2) to lower my fees. However, I can't seem to find a way to change my listing's size, and it keeps saying it is oversized (I haven't replenished to the warehouse yet, I'm working on the shipment).
Will the warehouse know when they receive the item that it is no longer oversized and put it in the appropriate area?
I've tried creating a new entry for the item and shipping from it, but it still assumes the package will be 20x4x4 and I can't seem to find any way to change it.
Has anyone else had to change product dimensions in the past and know how it works?
Thanks!

It is a little more complicated than that. Oversize inventory is stored in a different warehouse than standard. If you are the exclusive wholesaler and seller of the product, contact seller support and explain your situation. If not, your specific packaging doesn't matter - Amazon will determine the appropriate dimensions and size classification.

I've changed dimensions on a product. I guess someone used the case measurements for a action figure and a small figure went in oversize. Even after i had Amazon correct the dimensions i was still sending the item in oversize.
I'm guessing you will need to contact SS and have them "engage an engineer".

Just FYI, I spoke to an FBA rep at Amazon, and he stated that I should just send the items in. On receiving they should note the size differential and change it.
At that point, he said they would likely move the inventory to another facility.
Thanks y'all!
