go ahead and ignore the movies mentioned-it's your style to only answer part or none of the post. "Catch me if you can and the Aviator were good movies. Decaprio is a fine, young actor with years ahead of him and a career I never thought he'd have afer titanic.
Look at his box ofice receipts.
No juice as a leading man?
Tens of millions of fans disagree.
As do producers who sek him out for their movies.
Like these guys are going to sek out a non-talent for a dealing man.
I'm not a big fan, but he's just fine when compared to the younger stars of today. Name one YOUNGER star that has more juice.

We're going to see Inception tomorrow at the Smithsonian Imax theatre. Friends saw it already and loved it, but we've liked his earlier films. A good "thinker" movie after all the summertime action flicks (which I like too.)

But under it all it's not a thinking movie. It's a bit silly and doesn't make a good deal of sense.
Well, yeah, but at least Ellen Page is really cute.

Sure. The dumb masses come out in droves to see him. So what? The dumb masses in Rome went to the coliseum in droves to see men slaughter each other. So what? Proves nothing.
He still isn't much of a leading man

Wow, I had trouble watching the trailer. I get free tickets once a week, and that's the only movie that will be playing that I haven't seen. I was thinking of skipping next week. If you go, please give feedback, mayble I'll reconsider.

My bother and sister in law saw the movie.
After a half hour he asked his wife if she knew what it was about and she said "no".
He decided to pay more attention and finally understood what was happening. He said by the end he found it very interesting.
Asking his wife if she liked it. She said, it was 2 hours 20 minutes long which was 2 hours 15 minutes longer than she cared for.
Sorry

The story line is awfully familiar. I either watched the French movie it was based on or was invited to a similar dinner as a guest idiot. Can't remember which.

She's definitely cute and I enjoy watching her but I can't get past the thought in my head that she's 12.

David Sirota relates the movie to the media bubbles many of us live in:
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/07/29/ED611ELPVQ.DTL
Sirota quotes Boston Globe reporter Joe Keohane:
"When misinformed people, particularly political partisans, were exposed to corrected facts in news stories, they rarely changed their minds," he wrote. "In fact, they often became even more strongly set in their beliefs."

Review is up at http://www.earthmombooks.com/MovieReviews.aspx :)
It is just plain silly - from beginning to end - it's a farce and it's out there and it's just silliness after silliness. We laughed out loud several times, and thought it was alot of fun. It was 100 degrees today here and we hid out in the theater watching this silly movie so it was fun and a relief!
If you cringed at the trailer, you may not be silly enough to enjoy this one.

The Who movie??? Ahhh I saw that when it was released!!!!
I was going to see Dinner for Scmucks then decided not to - I'll wait for the DVD then I can not pay attention at parts
I'm pretty sure I'm going to the Mark Wahlburg/Will Farrell movie next weekend - looks humorous - I like the cast BUT tire of Will Farrell so easily in movies - I like the first part of Rickie Bobby (can't remember the name of the movie, John C. Reilly really made that movie) AND the one where he was a newscaster - again supporting cast saved that movie.
