Gee, Earthmom, with all that sewing and chicken-raising and bread baking, you should be the little red hen!

I'm doing the domestic goddess thing right now, but I know I can't compete with you earthmom. Besides, the government knows too much about me to get off the grid anyway (fingerprints on file at the FBI.) Deborah

Hi Cece. I'm in Phoenix, too. Crossing my fingers for rain today! As far as the soon-to-be-ex; unbeknownst to him, I've spent the last few days selling off his DVDs and books. In that respect, he apparently has pretty good taste! I feel a little guilty about it. But, hey, he hasn't bothered to pay child support since last spring!

Thank you, Deborah. I know this is off-topic, but for Christmas, my husband bought our five-year-old a $25 gift certificate to Build-A-Bear. He didn't get anybody else anything. But he bought himself a $300.00 Bowie knife on eBay. Unfortunately for him, the money order came back (address on the envelope was wrong) and I deposited it in my checking account. I ended up using the money to pay for the divorce. I'm still surprised by my behavior. But, like you said, I have to feed the kids. Message was edited by: littleredhenbooks

Does he think he was scammed by the seller or did he find out what you did with the mo? Man, I hope he is clueless about the cash, but I feel sorry for the seller if he gave him or her a hard time. I remember in one of my many poorest moments pawning all my valuables just to make sure my family had something for Christmas. I didn't want my kids thinking Santa screwed them over. Deborah

Hi Hen, I'm in north phoenix right off of the 101 exit and 7th street....what part of town are you in.... Good for you on selling his "Stuff"...if he left it with your that makes it your "Stuff"...and I'll second the fact...you got to feed the kids. Did you go to the Booksale last month down at the fairgrounds....I did... what a mad house....reminded my of christmas 22 years ago over the cabbage patch dolls...lots or pushing and shoving that first hour... Rain would be nice....chilly actually today... CeCe

The person who thought of the name for me, came up with this name because the goal was to sell books to everyone. Today, I sell books in many different areas. Children books---- Famous stories--- to unpopular stories Teen books--- Harry Potter--- All the way to educational books Adults---- I sell all types of adult books. So I try to stand by my name, selling to everyone. Parents buy children books from me all the time.

I am from the pacific northwest, couldn't think of a local name so I went regional: pugetsound_media. the media part allows me the ability to expand from books to dvds, tapes, etc. We are having a monsoon now... snowstorms in the mountains... I am wishing that it heads your way.

Hey Littleredhen .... I did worse .... I put my husband up for sale on EBay! I had 38 bids in less then 5 minutes.... EBay pulled it off and sent me a "that's a no-no" email! By the way ... the bids got up to $2,500,000 Darn ... that money would have been nice!

Out of curiousity I ask, what breed? Lemme take a wild guess: Is he/she of the blue tongued Chow Chow breed? Don, who loves dogs and is looking to get a Golden Retriever puppy.

btw my name is an abreviated version of my true name. The 98 is there because everything goes pretty much okay 98% of the time. Don

Hi Don .... This is Suki! As you can see she is a bischon! It cost $50 to have her groomed every 4 weeks! She's wild and gets into trouble all the time. Can not be left alone! These dogs MUST be crated when you go out! Destructive little demons! Very athletic and smart! Can run extremely fast! Pam
