I like the new description seen on shipping slip

Just noticed that now the description is showing on the shipping slip that I print out to put in with my books to ship. I think it is a good improvement and I say thanks to Amazon -- I know we have been wanting this for a while now. Some days something good does happen here <smile>

I just noticed this yesterday. I think it is fantastic! Now if they can make it easier to find the description for items that don't come with that packing slip that would be a huge help!

I've always included a description in the packing slip but up till now I had to go two different places to come up with it. This saves me a step.

I received a book today from an Amazon seller in crappy condition.
What part of don't ship a hardcover book in a padded envelope do they not understand?
I want to see the original description before I have any contact with the seller. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to do this, and I know the steps have been posted on this board many times.
Can someone help?

Get rid of your brackets (the new system doesn't like ampersands right now, either...) I know it is not the perfect solution, but you should have much better results that way (unless your'e one of THOSE who WANT to hide your comments... ). Demi

I love the new packing slips. The only complaint I have is I wish they would make the shipping method larger and in bold.

Is it mandatory to include packing slips in each shipment? Thanks so much, Z

It is a good business practice but is not mandatory, per se. Jim
