It's definitely new; wasn't there yesterday. Once you choose your 'stars,' then the buttons for 'did it arrive on time?' and '...in the condition described?' appear. The nice thing is that there is now an option for 'not applicable' next to the question about seller communication.

See Amazon Announcement posted at 3:58:

"On April 8th we will resume testing a new "Leave seller feedback" page. The test will be set up so that only half of our users will see the new page. Once the test is complete, if we decide to proceed with using the new page, all users will then see it.

We are revising the page to meet our business needs as we add new features, and to add improvements based on the many comments we have received from sellers.

Here are some of the specific changes:

* Buyers can get to the feedback page with only one click after logging in.

* All feedback-eligible orders are visible on one page. Buyers can leave feedback on as many orders as they want without having to leave the page.

* The message "If your order hasn't arrived yet, please note that it's still before the delivery estimate" is much more prominent.

* The comments box is now below the optional questions so buyers will be more likely to notice the questions before they leave a comment. In previous tests of the new page we auto-filled the comments section based on the rating number and the answers to the three optional questions. For this test we have removed the auto-fill feature."

I went to leave feedback for this transaction and it never gave me the option to leave an actual comment. While I was sitting there I called buyer support and seller support.

They are just testing out this version. Thats at least what they told me.

Believe it or not the seller support agent was more confused then the buyer support agent, when have you seen that before.?

They are just testing it out it. This test many NOT be the final one.???

Then why do it..?

If I am reading that correctly, its an order you placed in January? and the feedback page said that the item was still in the delivery window if you had not recieved it yet?

The seller refunded the order when they couldnt find it. I just wanted to leave feedback today saying something like "Great Customer Support".

I tried at 9:00ish this morning and couldnt. I tried again later and still couldnt,

Seller Support was lost

Buyer Support was helpful

The first agent I got couldnt believe I wanted to leave feedback so long after the [EDD] time frame, and he really could believe I was seeing this page. He had NO clue they were doing this..!

He couldnt answer why it says its still within the transit time frame. The only thing he could think of to say was

"Maybe is because its been refunded" & "It has to be an error, I'll send a report"

WHAT...?????

Whew! As long as they're not going back to that nightmarish auto-fill feature, I don't think this change matters to me one way or the other.

But the tinkering does probably solve the mystery of things like suddenly going five days between feedback ratings recently.

I spoke with a couple of friends last night who work for Amazon in tech support and seller support / buyer support. Zip, Zero, Nada one, knew of this roll out until 3:00pm yesterday, yet it started at 8:00am PST. Normally they get a heads-up when they go to work, this caught them all by surprise.

They were also informed that the date of the roll out was planned to run along side the ending of direct calls to amazon. So if any question needed to be answered. They could test it along side that lovely new feature. Which if you haven't used the new "Click & Never Call Me"  Try it out..!

This was only a test run and the final site wide change wont happen until next month but, they hope to start fazing it in within the next couple of weeks. I guess they had some issues with certain OS system's, or something like that.  ...........

Its really nice to know. That the man behind the curtain is talking to the "Little" people who run the daily operations.

They'll get your feedback to you little pretties

Update: has nothing to do with the feedback changes but, they delayed the click and never call us back feature.

I guess they are going to try it or the 22nd.

I wonder what the reason is, the update doesnt say what the reason is.

I don't know about if it was glitches.

They changed the packing slip today, i didnt see anything listed about it.

- No longer says packing slip but just order ID

- Order info is all in a small little box now

They wont be happy everything that wasnt broken has been changed.

I missed the change on the packing slip, but I just looked at it and they did change it

what ever happened to "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
