Detail Page Redesign Test in Consumer Electronics

We are excited to announce the test of a new presentation of “More Buying Choices” appearing on Consumer Electronics detail pages.
This new design will initially be tested in Electronics, and will only appear to a subset of our customers during the test so that we can better measure the impact of the new presentation against the current presentation.
What will those customers in the test see?
- Buy Box-eligible merchant offers previously appearing in “More Buying Choices” list format will be presented more prominently alongside the buy box winning offer in clickable tabs just beneath the availability message.
- Customers who click on the new offer tabs will now be able to view offer-specific promotion information directly below the active tab, making it easier for the customer to evaluate the other buy box eligible offers without having to leave the detail page.
- The horizontal presentation makes it easier for customers to compare item pricing + shipping across all buy box eligible offers.
