As the nation experiences multiple winter weather challenges, be sure to communicate with your buyers about the status of their shipments. We encourage you to check your shippers' websites frequently for updates about delivery delays, and then pass the information on to your customers. If you experience a power outage and are unable to ship orders, phone the buyers right away if possible. If that is not possible, contact the buyers at your first opportunity. During this last week of the 2008 holiday season, you cannot communicate too often with your buyers. They will appreciate the efforts you make to keep them informed about their orders.
